How to Make Your Design Business Persona Memorable ~ Nancy Ganzekaufer, Business Coach & Body Language Trainer

How can you create a memorable business persona? I am so glad you asked! Your business and your words are definitely the first things to consider if you’re looking to build a business persona. Creating a memorable business persona can set your brand apart from the rest.

DON’T FOLLOW THE TREND! BE DIFFERENT!

However, a lot of you tend to over-complicate everything about marketing! Because you over-complicate what should be simple, you wind up falling to strategies and tactics that do anything but create a unique and memorable business persona.

One of the things that makes me different as a coach is my Long Island New York accent. I also tend to speak out of one side of my mouth sometimes. I don’t do it on purpose, it’s just me! I get comments all the time about it.

At first, when I started making videos, I was so self-conscious about it and I didn’t like the way I talked. In fact, I did not want to hear myself talk! I didn’t even want to see myself talking, but it was something I had to deal with in order to make me more visible and grow my business. I worked on it and I did it! Now I teach other people to do the same.

One of the things that make you more memorable is how different you are from a crowded market. You could, for example, say things like:

“I may not look like the typical interior designer, because I’m not a typical interior designer. I’m actually incredibly talented.” Start saying things like that just to yourself!

I have a thick accent and I was trying to correct it. I was worried that my audience might highlight my flaws. Then I realized it was part of what made me unique. It’s part of what made people follow me and listen to me, so I stopped being shy about it.

You may just be different in the way you look or unique in the way you present your services. The cool ways your business story plays out on a day to day basis plays a vital role in building a memorable business persona. So, whatever it is that makes you different don’t hide it, instead flaunt it!

ALWAYS BE POSITIVE!

When you stop worrying about how different you are from the other people you see in your industry, you become more positive.

When you accept your unique quirks, personality, accent or skills, it helps you stay positive. Self-acceptance breeds positivity and it seeps right into your business!

When you are positive about who you are, your audience will be as well. It just might help them to release and amplify their own uniqueness!

JUST DO YOU!

Be proud of who you are and flaunt those things that make you different. Be the best version of yourself, always! Realizing what makes you different, be it in the manner in which you talk, your appearance, your talent, is what determines what you have to offer and what you can do for others.

ALWAYS REMEMBER

Remember that what you do is what makes you memorable. It’s all about being yourself. Being the real you is the key to building a memorable business persona.

People buy YOU before they buy your services. So, be free in your personality! Share your life experiences. Tell people about your hobbies! Let your quirks shine through! Like I always say, “Confidence is a Brand that Sells™!”
